LAKEVIEW Resort is located in one of the best walleye, northern pike, perch, catfish, silver and smallmouth bass fishing areas.
Anglers here also have access to many other lakes in close proximity that are part of the Glacial Lakes area chain of lakes.
Lake Poinsett hosts fishing tournaments in winter and early summer.

Serious bird hunters come to this area from all over the U.S. knowing there's a good chance of bagging their limit of pheasants, geese, or ducks. Migratory flight paths of many Canadian game birds are directly overhead.
